I’m Kate – the owner of Valley & Oak Events, a wedding planner based in Grand Rapids, Michigan but serving couples across the state and beyond.

I’ve had a passion for making people smile all my life and solidified that passion with a degree in hospitality. I am loyal to a fault & will endlessly support my couples through any tough moment. I tend to be firm but always honest. I will with cheer the absolute freaking LOUDEST for them at their first kiss & dance in shadows til the lights come on.

Being a total hands-on, not afraid to get dirty, badass chick – I hope to show that through my weddings & to exceed expectations whenever possible.
